When I tried uploading the video of Corrin to the N Masters YouTube channel a few years ago, I had to take it down and edit out pretty much the whole 2nd new music track before uploading it again since, by some reason, it was causing the whole video to be muted. (Even though you could already hear that music during the first sample battle)
Now, I’ve found an alternative and different host where I can easily upload the full version of the video without worrying about it being suddenly muted or the file disappearing in any way. This is because it’s a decentralized service.
So now, here is the link to the full video as it was meant to be seen when it was originally uploaded. This version is around 3 minutes longer since it does contain the whole sample of the 2nd music track near the end of the video.
(For people who know about this kind of things and are wondering why I chose bit.tube over d.tube, it’s simple. Getting a Steem private key (account) to be able to use d.tube either costs or is free but takes weeks. Also, video playing doesn’t seem to work well and I’ve read about people having issues uploading. With bit.tube, it was free and simple to get a private key (account) and playing and uploading videos had no issues at all.)
As proven by the screenshot below, Mario Tennis Aces: Online Tournament Demo seems to be region locked. While the software inside seems to be the exact same one, the internal IDs are different, so you can have two copies of the demo on your Switch.
What this means is that you won’t be able to play against people from other regions during the demo. (Which is proven by the fact that each region has their own schedule to play the demo.)
So far, it seems the full version will not be region locked, though, as it is possible to open the Japanese eShop listing through the American demo.
(Sushi Striker’s case is a bit different which I’ll explain in a different post.)
Yep, catching doesn’t work like that. Even the anime knows it and since the first episode.
Thankfully, the games are spin-off titles and not part of the main games.
And here’s some quick facts that people may not know yet about the game but that are already confirmed:
- There’s no wild pokémon battles at all. No option to do it in any way. You don’t even choose a pokémon whenever you encounter a wild pokémon.
- Only the first 151 pokémon available plus Alolan pokémon that have alolan form and an a new 8th gen pokémon.
There’s no online at all. I don’t think there’s even local wireless even. At least it doesn’t seem to exist either.It seems there was a miscommunication (translation error, I guess). There is online and local for both battle and trading. It just won’t be using the Nintendo Switch Online service. (Battles and its levels are based on the Pokémon Go CP system, though)
- When in two player mode, battles against NPC trainers will be 2 vs 1, with the players having an obvious advantage. Catching in 2 player mode also seems to give you some sort of benefits so catching is easier. This means that you could simply grab the second joycon yourself and make the game easier.
- The Pokéball Plus controller can also work as a Pokémon Go Plus. Its battery only lasts 3 hours, though.
Overall, the games seem to be more like an expansion to Pokémon Go than anything else.
Since Sony decided to remove everything related to Media Go when they stopped supporting it (even the actual download to its latest version) I wanted to share this for any PSP owner that may need it.

This was the latest version that I could access from Sony’s servers (through archive.org ) and works well, afaik. Useful if you want to easily manage media files on your PSP, as they are converted properly and in decent quality.
Got the demo of PixelJunk Monsters 2 on Nintendo Switch a while ago. Downloaded it through the Japanese eShop since it wasn’t available yet on any other region. (I think it is now available now, btw)
Anyway, the point of this post is just to share a few glitches that I experienced while playing it, and maybe the reason why this demo wasn’t available outside of Japan yet. (or maybe the glitches are still there, XD ) (Update on this situation below)
The demo is supposed to have English support and I was playing with my Switch set to English during the whole time.
UPDATE: A few minutes after this post was published, I got a reply on Twitter that confirms that these glitches do not exist anymore in the full version of the game.

I can also confirm that the software in the demo version that is accessible through the American eShop is the same as the Japanese one, even though the ID seems to be different. (So you can essentially have the demo two times in case you want to do that by some reason.) The glitches still work in this version (demo v 1.0) in case you want to check them out.
