One of the Hunter Medals (and achievement and trophy in Xbox One and PS4 respectively) from the X Legacy Collection 2 involves clearing a stage in X Challenge with no more than three minutes remaining. Then, there’s also the Weapon Select menu which, as is expected from a mode in which speed is rewarded, pauses the game but not the timer. So yeah, mix up both and you have a really easy exploit to get this Medal without much work, as shown in the clip below by Rie and shared through my Twitter.
It was expected but I hadn’t really experienced it yet. There are moments in both Mega Man X Legacy Collections when the screenshots and video recording are blocked. Once it happened once, I knew all the places where it would happen. Btw, I’m guessing these features are also blocked in a similar way in the Xbox One and PS4 versions.

Since I had those old Mega Man X8 videos already uploaded to the N Masters YouTube channel, I thought to myself, “Why not?”. So here are the new Mega Man X8 videos recorded from the X Legacy Collection 2. I decided to specifically record and upload these two already since they are the same content that was previously uploaded.
Loading times are surprisingly quick now. Also, the X Collections give me the excuse to record and upload more Mega Man X game videos to N Masters since they are all now officially in a Nintendo console. 😛

Simply more proof that the Japanese collection is the complete version with all the original songs for each version. 😛
