Welp, I’ve been a bit more consistent with live stream recently, I guess. ?
To make this easier on the blog, I only placed the first two in the front. The rest of the stream recordings are after the jump. That’s also where the Super Mario Party stream recording is, btw. Also, I’m now streaming using OBS and testing using overlays. For now, the only overlay is the current time.
Here’s a quick survey for all Super Mario Party players.
I thought about making a feature at N Masters dedicated Super Mario Party. At the moment, the main focus of it would be about having a record of all minigame highscores, or at least the ones where it’s possible. But before I start working on this idea, I want to see if there’s interest on it.
Below is the link to a survey where you can submit your best score in the first stage of the Puzzle Hustle minigame. Depending on how many people reply to it will make me decide if I go on with this idea as soon as possible or leave it for later.
Please be aware that, since this is only a test to see if there’s interest, I’ll be updating this page manually. The last time the page was updated will be displayed at the bottom.
Yep, I hate Luigi. Ruined the whole thing in the last turn. (and then in the last bonus star) ? … Maybe this is Luigi’s revenge after he messed up in the other game and pretty much gave me the star.
First of all, I want to point out that this is not a way to enable some sort of secret handheld mode. This solution is more of a “think outside the box” solution and it only works efficiently for a few minigames. The trick is the following.
This is what portable mode normally looks like:
So what you need to do is the following:
And that’s it. So while you keep holding the Switch with the joycon that is still attached to it, you can use your other hand to play with the free joycon. By the way, this also works for Mario Tennis Aces Swing Mode (or, I guess, any other game that requires using the joycon this way)
Of course, this trick wouldn’t be needed if NDcube had implemented a way to only play the minigames that only use buttons when it detects that the system is being used in handheld mode. But well, we all know that probably won’t happen, even though they did disable the rumble based minigames if you have controller rumble disabled at system level.
