Here’s the January 2019 calendar shared by Nintendo through their LINE account. (Like usual, it’s only available for mobile devices)
Here’s an even older drawing than the one I shared the other day. This was done during the middle of 2016, if I recall correctly.
You can easily notice the one of Rie being much better than this one. I’m surprised at how much I improved in just about half a year.
Apparently, I can draw. Here’s an old drawing of Rie that I did on January of last year.
I honestly didn’t think I could make drawings like this one. ?
Before this, I usually just did stick figure drawings or some really quick and ugly looking ones when I tried something more. It was like I really wasn’t being careful or really trying. I think it wasn’t until the beginning of 2016 when I decided to really try to draw well based on what someone had told me a few years earlier. After that, it’s just been practice, careful observation of art styles that I like, and a few valuable tips from artists that I know.
Here’s another old wallpaper I made quite a few years ago. This one’s based on Super Mario Galaxy. At one point, it was available at N Masters but now it’s not available anywhere AFAIK.
Again, like most of the other ones, there’s no other sizes available. It’s a simple wallpaper but I like how it came out with the starry background effect I did.
Here is the sad truth of what happens now when you try to access the regular site for the Mario Tennis franchise.
It seems that Nintendo wants to make people forget that Mario Tennis Ultra Smash existed. (The site still exists but at a different URL that’s harder to find. )
As proven by the screenshot below, Mario Tennis Aces: Online Tournament Demo seems to be region locked. While the software inside seems to be the exact same one, the internal IDs are different, so you can have two copies of the demo on your Switch.
What this means is that you won’t be able to play against people from other regions during the demo. (Which is proven by the fact that each region has their own schedule to play the demo.)
So far, it seems the full version will not be region locked, though, as it is possible to open the Japanese eShop listing through the American demo.
(Sushi Striker’s case is a bit different which I’ll explain in a different post.)
